Pretty simple: You teach people how you want to be treated. If you allow yourself to be used, then it will continue. If you tell others that you feel you are being used, then set limits and refuse to allow this to continue, then it should cease. If it does not stop, discontinue association with those whom you perceive are violating your boundaries.

I didn't answer how all that would effect my depression. Well, on one level that remains my problem. I don't think it would resolve because I am in a relationship, just that the perfect man can accomodate and support where necessary, and hopefully I can do the same for him.
